I Love Creating Christmas Ornaments!
Christmas Ornaments are probably my most favorite item to create with polymer clay.
I even try to utilize recycled items to use as the base of my ornaments. For instance: glass ball ornaments that are sometimes found at thrift stores rather than buying them new in the department or craft stores (but when I have a big request order, sometimes I just have to purchase them new. I also like to use the metal twist-off bottle caps that you get off of the glass soda or beer bottles. I have thought about using baby food jars, but I haven't gotten to creating on that base yet... i will in the near future after I get caught up on my orders and creating Christmas gifts for my family. :-)
I have been taking pics of all of the ornaments I have created because it is a great way to show people what I enjoy doing. Here's a collage of just some of the ornaments I have done so far.... I plan to add more later.

Welcome!
Hi! Welcome to my Polymer Clay blog.
I am Daresa and I am a polymer clay artist in Moncks Corner, SC.
Polymer Clay Art is fun, and almost therapeutic thing for me to do. It even sometimes has me thinking back to my childhood when i loved to play with playdoh.
Who knew......twenty-some years later I would be playing with clay again! At least polymer clay doesn't stink!
I love the versatility of polymer clay. I love to make beads, pendants and figurines. My mind is constantly trying to come up with new designs.
Even though I may replicate some of my items, each one is unique in its own way.
The very first thing I ever made with polymer clay were what I call my "Praying Cheerleaders".....they are so cute! They are all similar, but each one is unique.
They are very popular and I can create them in any team colors of choice. (i'll post a pic later).
Then I started collecting polymer clay books and magazines to get inspiration.
I believe I have been making things with polymer clay for about seven years now and I love it.
