To Blog or Not to Blog...

ok, well It's been 8 months since my last  blog post. . . Needless to say I just haven't made  time for it. I do have a lot on my plate, mind, craft table, computer, etc., etc., etc., LoL

So, should I really try to find the time to blog too?

I don't know... it may happen.

As far as what is going on with all of my clay projects, I am currently working on a unique wedding cake topper.... here is the car, still have to work on the bride and groom. . .

Working on new ornament orders... Yes-even after Christmas...

made some new charms...

A Valentine Lucky Bug. . .

This really pretty Magnolia charm bracelet for a Bride-to-be. . . and possibly her bridesmaids...

and a lot more.

On a side note... I have started my Intro to Design Applications class today. Totally excited about learning how to use all of the different programs in my Adobe inDesign software!

Now let's see it I can try to keep up with this blogging thing....

  1. Yay you are back blogging! I find it a nice break from everything else sometimes. But the big plus now is looking back at the posts and remembering what was going on then, and seeing the pics that I put there way back then too.

I just love your new charms - the lipstick and yarn - awesome!! I may have to get some of those...

  2. Thanks Rebecca! Yes I think it will be nice to try to get back into blogging again. I'm going to try to keep the blog current with my newest creations and hopefully try to work on some features too. :-)

Let me know when you need some new charms designed again... it'll be Toekini season before we know it!

  3. Whoot! I understand, I tend to go periods of time without blogging...
I love the car and need to send you a pic of the small "tiara" Sera will be wearing so you have an idea of what will be in her hair.

    1. Yeah, I'm not much of a blogger but it has frequently peaked my interest.

Cool... I'll be looking forward to the tiara pic. :-)

  4. Completely understood - I just revived my blogging, and plan to post at least once a day each day in at least one of the 5 blogs I run. Setting up a schedule will help, that's for sure. And with you posting new creations, you just have to say "Okay, after I've made 5 (or however many) different new things, I'll blog about them", then stick to it.
You can do it, I can do it, we can all do it. Having support helps, too.
BTW, LOVE those yarn ball charms!

    1. Thank you Connie,

Yeah... I'm definately not a scheduled type of person. Brad gets onto me about that all of the time...he is very scheduled and I am very sporatic, he he he go figure. :-)

Thank you for loving the yarn ball charms, If you ever need me to create any for you, please let me know.

      :-)

  5. It's hard to maintain a blog sometimes, but if I stay in the blogging mindset it becomes an easier routine. And I love reading other people's blogs! Your work is so gorgeous, by the way! ;-)

  6. Don't know how you do it, Ms. Daresa - so busy all the time with kids, creating, home-making.........but that's why YOU're young, and I'm not! Your new creations are exciting and I'm always excited to see what happens "next".....Just remember to take time for yourself - every day! This is Grandma talkin'..............;-)

  7. Nice work. I know what you mean. We have so many things to do that something has to to put off at times. I had to put myself on a schedule so I can make sure I hit all the areas I need to, including time for rest! As long as we do what we love, the rest will fall into place :)
